“A true photograph need not be explained, nor can it be contained in words.”

Ansel Adams

The ability of a photograph to capture an instant, a fleeting moment or an expression and incite deep emotions within us is certainly unique to this medium. This visual medium can convey happiness and grief, love and hatred, passion and apathy, joy and agony, laughter and sadness, beauty and darkness to its audience in one frame with silent eloquence and that’s why I love photographs. My name is Kasra Normofidi and I started my journey in the world of DSLR photography back in February 2009 with a Nikon D40. Years into this personal venture, I have added an asortment of lenses, equipment and have immensely benefited from the wisdom of my good friends and family.I hope you enjoy the photos and become a regular visitor of this site.Knowing that online photo blogs are innumerable and your time limited, I do appreciate the time you’ve spent on this site.  BlogPic_Small

I hope as my audience, you not only enjoy the photographs but also with your objective critiques and comments help me in my personal growth in the field of photography.

      Hi Adrian,
thank you for your compliments! believe it or not, I have a day job as an engineer as well so I shoot in my spare time. I love it just like you. Iphone pics can be just as impressive specially 6S or now 7Plus. with the technology these days, its about how you perceive things, the way you frame a photo and what story you can convey to your audience.
      best of luck
